Dr. Tabitha B. Fortt is a family physician in Stamford, Connecticut, with over 22 years of experience. A native of Bridgeport, CT, Dr. Fortt attended Fairfield University and Georgetown University School of Medicine. After completing her residency training at Columbia University’s Program in Family Practice at Stamford Hospital, she served as the Medical Coordinator for Stamford Community Health Center for five years. As the senior physician, Dr. Fortt led the clinical staff in the initiation of a Homeless Healthcare Clinic and established diagnostic and treatment programs for asthma, hepatitis C, and tuberculosis. Additionally, she has previously served as the School Health Consultant, Well Baby Clinic, Pediatric TB Clinic, and STD Clinic for the City of Stamford for several years.
In 2016, Dr. Fortt became one of the founding owners of Eleven86 Real Artesian Water. Located in Autaugaville, Alabama, Eleven86 Real Artesian Water was founded to revitalize a small, predominantly black town while also providing some of the purest water on Earth. Eleven86 Water has not only provided jobs to Autaugaville but also economic stability and consistent support for local schools, churches, and town activities. The company has also provided support during various natural disasters and public water crises, especially in its local area and around the country. Dr. Fortt's leadership and dedication have been instrumental in both her medical career and her contributions to the success and community impact of Eleven86 Real Artesian Water.
